Curry&#8217;s Underrated brand is partnering with the American Junior Golf Association (AJGA) to help bring the sport to underserved audiences.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In its first year, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.golfdigest.com\/story\/steph-curry-junior-tour\">according to Golf Digest<\/a>, the Underrated Golf Tour will &#8220;select each of the 24 best boys and girls who will compete for the Curry Cup at the season ending Underrated Tour Championship held at TPC Harding Park.&#8221;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">It will begin in Chicago in late June and make stops in Houston, Phoenix and Tampa. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Curry is also putting his money where his mouth is as he is covering all of the travel, lodging and entrance fees.  <\/p><div id=\"first-2445137488\" class=\"first-content first-entity-placement\"><!-- \/22950135888\/FAP_Article_Leaderboard_Instream2 -->\r\n<div id='div-gpt-ad-1700413625220-0' style='min-width: 300px; min-height: 90px;'>\r\n  <script>\r\n    googletag.cmd.push(function() { googletag.display('div-gpt-ad-1700413625220-0'); });\r\n  <\/script>\r\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Bringing golf to overlooked markets isn&#8217;t new to Curry.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">A few short years ago, Curry helped found the men&#8217;s and women&#8217;s golf teams at Howard University, even agreeing to sponsor the team for six years.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Then in July of 2021, <a href=\"https:\/\/firstandpen.com\/staging\/5861\/howard-university-raises-over-3-million-for-golf-program\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Curry took part in the <em>Bison at the Beach Inaugural Golf Classic<\/em><\/a>.
