In his plea, Portis admitted he took part in a plan to defraud through “false or fraudulent pretenses, representations, and promises.” <\/p>\n\n\n\n
In other words, Portis acknowledges the lied about claims for benefits he made over equipment that he knew “were not medically necessary.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The $99,264 is the amount he received as a reimbursement from the plan.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
