You may not have heard of Ready Nutrition, but the company is taking steps to change that.

On Friday, Ready, one of the fastest growing sports nutrition companies in America, became the Official Sports Drink of the Miami Open Tennis Tournament.

“We’re absolutely thrilled to be chosen as a partner with such a prestigious tournament featuring players from all over the world,” said Ready® Founder and CEO Pat Cavanaugh.  “We’re especially looking forward to our best-in-class products being available to help fuel the players and assist them in their recovery.”

The company was founded in 2012 by former University of Pittsburgh basketball team captain, Pat Cavanaugh. Its roster of all-natural products includes super fruit-based sports drinks, protein bars, protein water, plant based functional snacks and protein powder.

Ready has grown over the last decade, impressing big name athletes like NFL superstar Aaron Donald and world basketball icon Giannis Antetokounmpo so much that they joined the company as co-owners.

The company works with over 200 college and university athletic programs. This includes being the Official Protein of UCLA Athletics and the Official Sports Drink of Gonzaga athletics. Most recently, Steelers quarterback Kenny Pickett and Jessica Pegula, the #3-ranked tennis player in the world have joined the brand as Ready athletes.

This weekend, Pegula will be playing in the Miami Open and the company will be activating both through Pegula and at the event. The brand will have product integration in player and recovery areas for competitor use, signage, product sampling and on-air opportunities on the Tennis Channel.

But Ready is not stopping at the Miami Open.

The company will be hitting the road through its “Lean and Clean” Mobile Tour at colleges and universities in Florida, Georgia, South Carolina, North Carolina, Virginia, Ohio and Pennsylvania, where Ready will introduce its Ready® Light Sports Drink, which contains only 20 calories.

“We wanted to make a splash and have fun introducing our light version of Ready® Sports Drink,” noted Cavanaugh. “Our vehicle is definitely going to turn heads and we expect to have a good time supporting our retailers, interacting with the public, and sampling our new Ready® Light Sports Drink which is already creating a buzz.”

The tour runs from March through May, so make sure you catch it when it comes to your town.
