Barry Bonds, baseball’s home run king, is heading to Netflix later this month as a member of the streaming platform’s MLB broadcast team.
On Thursday, Netflix announced that the 14x All-Star and 7x MVP would be joining the streamer’s “star-studded roster of on-air talent” this season, Netflix’s first after signing a three-year, $150 with MLB to broadcast the league’s Opening Night game, the Home Run Derby and other special events like the 2026 Field of Dreams Game.
Bonds will be on the pre- and postgame desk along with 3x MVP Albert Pujols, World Series champion Anthony Rizzo and Netflix’s new host for its sports programming, Emmy Award-winning talent Elle Duncan.
Armed with one of the greatest resumes in baseball history, Bonds holds the MLB record for career home runs (762) and single-season home runs (73). In addition to his All-Star appearances and MVPs, Bonds also has 12 Silver Slugger awards, 8 Gold Gloves awards and two batting titles in his name.
The Opening Night game takes place on March 25th, the T-Mobile Home Run Derby on July 13, and MLB at Field of Dreams on Aug. 13, and they all will air exclusively on Netflix.
